ONE THOUSAND BIBLE QUESTIONS
82- A Noble Town
The people of a certain town
Have long enjoyed deserved renown
For doing what we ought to do
(By which I mean myself and you).
Now write this town's illustrious name,
And tell me if you do the same
The solution to this single example will explain exactly why William Wileman asked One Thousand Bible Questions in the first place. Originally produced as a series of ten books, at the beginning of the twentieth century, each contained one hundred questions - in rhyme.
In those days, people would simply send their answers directly to Mr Wileman, but this is no longer possible; he was taken to be with the Lord in 1944. As the correct solutions do not appear to have been preserved, readers must now check their own answers from the Word of God.
